Is it a Taxi strike or violence?

I fully understand the dissatisfaction of taxi operators about the presence and/or implementation of the BRT system. However, I will never understand the rejection thereof. I will never understand the attack that gets directed to the poor bus drivers whenever the taxi operators are not satisfied with something. I will never understand the means to fight development in our country. I will never understand the fact that they can't meet with the authorities to discuss their dissatisfaction and publicise the attempts so that the public can know what their complaints are and support them if necessary.

The last time they were on strike they were divided here in Johannesburg. Others were not interested in the strike because those striking were allegedly striking for no reason as issues they were raising had been discussed with the authorities and agreed upon. A BRT bus was shot at in Soweto.

This time it seems like the same thing is true because there's still a few taxi's operating in some areas. But then again an act of violence could not be missed. Another BRT bus transporting bus drivers was allegedly shot at in Orlando.

Why mara? Why?

Is it supposed to be a strike or some violence?

Geez!!!
